Executive’s dam May Surprise, full sister of Matador, can be a bit difficult to get in foal with frozen semen, so when this failed with a Grand Prix dressage stallion in 2003, Kyra chose to use fresh semen from Chairman, as he was standing at New Priory Stud where Kyra kept her mares and young horses at the time. Even if Chairman hasn’t been shown in dressage himself, he has been jumping internationally. Chairman is a cross of the

two best Holsteiner performance bloodlines, Cor de la Bruyere and Lord, and there are very good international dressage horses out of both these stallion lines. Executive is a very nice young horse born 2004. He has good gaits and a good balance which he can maintain also with the rider on. Now we only have to hope he grows a bit more.
